What a storyteller does with words, Shon does with pictures; he creates and nurtures images until they communicate a larger idea.
With an aversion to monotony, Shon is always on the move and continuously finding interesting ways of expressing himself. He can never turn down the opportunity to learn something new; after all, wider knowledge can help out in unexpected ways.
After graduating from high school in 2004, he worked and traveled before entering the IDEA program at Capilano University. There he learned many tricks and skills that helped him grow as an artist and professional. As an exchange student, Shon also attended the Bisen School of Illustration and Design in Sapporo, Japan. He went expecting to learn only about Japanese design sensibilities, but ended up opening wide all his senses to the larger experience of a very different culture.
Shon is now working at Spring as a designer and loving every minute of it.
